A feast of Latin music and art to kick off Christmas early in Florida with Encendido Navideño concert

A cultural feast will soon be taking place at the Manuel Artime Theater and its surroundings in Miami, Florida which will host the fourth Encendido Navideño concert featuring artists such as Charlie Aponte, José Nogueras, and Tony Toyán, preceded by an outdoor cultural prelude, informed Fenomenal Entertainment.

These artists represent different styles of Latin music. Aponte, par excellence salsa performer, was a vocalist for El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico and has been performing as a solo artist throughout the world for years. Meanwhile, Nogueras is a key figure in music across a variety of genres, particularly Christmas music, and he’s been the recipient of prestigious awards throughout including the “Composer of the Year” from Billboard Magazine. And Tony Toyán, well known for his mastery of the interpretation of Puerto Rico’s national instrument -the Puerto Rican cuatro- combines multiple genres in his original compositions and his performances, as he did when he performed with Daddy Yankee at his recent concerts.

“In an effort to offer new experiences to Encendido Navideño’s audience we wanted to bring beloved artists from previous concerts and put them together on the same stage,” said Fenomenal Entertainment’s producer Anthony Rodríguez. “But we wanted to add a new layer to the whole experience, which is why we are adding an outdoor Cultural Festival on the theater premises, that people from all over can also enjoy,” he detailed.

Encendido Navideño 2024 will be hosted by popular Miami-based radio personality Betzy Vázquez (“La Gatita”) and veteran producer Antonio Sánchez (“El Gangster”).

This event kicks off the Christmas season in South Florida as a space for connecting the Hispanic population with its traditions during this most significant of seasons. It attracts travelers from different cities and states.

Encendido Navideño 2024 will be taking place on Saturday, November 23 at the Manuel Artime Theater, 900 SW 1st St, Miami starting at 8:00 p.m. Tickets available through Eventbrite.com.

Chef Iram Ayala and his restaurant, El Bayú de Wela Sara, are the official presenters. Other sponsors include Access All Services (AAS), Chocolate Cortés, Isla del Encanto Restaurant y Medina’s Nature Loving Company.

Artists and exhibitors confirmed for the festival include Barrio Cultural (original artisanal items), painter David Divad, and Accounting Solutions 55.
